Patek Philippe replica uk light scratches on clasp

I recently purchased a Rolex GMT Ceramic TT and only wear it to work. I noticed that the gold insert on the clasp is getting very fine hair like “scratches” on the surface. They are not deep at all and I am sure it can be buffed out but what’s the point of doing that if the finish is so soft. Literally the only thing I can think of is that my shirt cuff’s are causing the marks as I take off the watch when I type at work to avoid the clasp from hitting the desk or keyboard.

So my question is does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the clasp clean or is this just an inherent problem with the newer clasps that have the center gold insert.

I have the SS GMTIIC and use Autosol metal polish on the polished centre section of the clasp. (It seems to be the only part which gets any “damage” worth bothering about.) It brings it up great. It might be a little too abrasive for 18K gold though. A Cape Cod cloth will probably do just fine. I also use a brushed finish pen on the outer sections to make sure I’ve got rid of any traces of the polish there. It’s easy to keep the brushed effect straight as the centre section is slightly raised and you can use that edge as a guide.
